The fun we have

Laddo! I so much wish that when you grow up, you remember how much fun we had together when you were this small. You will be three in about a month. And we play mindless games which only make sense to both of us. We invented them. Mama tries to play but sucks at it! Ha!

Our very first game that we started playing is called "Papa aaya!" When I return from office in the evening, you greet me with excitement and running in circles. Then you rush into our room at hop on our bed. Then you say papa aaya! Upon which I say papa aaya and pounce at you and smother you with kisses and fold you up. Boy you love it. The second stage of papa aaya is a pillow fight which unlike the traditional pillow fight is a pillow push fight. The final stage is when you lie down next to me and burry yourself under the cave of our pillows. The pillows should cover your entire body as if it were a quilt. Then the game ends.

For the last couple of weeks, we don't play Papa Aaya that much. These days our new invention called "ya dichu dichu dichu dchu!" is on full roll! It extracts the juice out of us. We have 2 medium size light weight air balls. We drop them on the floor together in our drawing room. And then begins our contest. The idea is to hit both the balls and prevent the other from getting to even touch it. You love this game. We don't stop until we drop. The balls keep flying here and there as they are light weight. The only rule is -while hitting the balls and chasing them.. we need to keep saying 'ya dichu dichu dichu dichu' in various combinations..

You are growing up and stronger. Now I understand why parents go on and on about their children.. They are simply happy and proud to see them grow.

Love you

Papa
